    Wouldn't a driveshaft from a manual ute fit?

    Already had that thought James, but I think it was something around 85mm longer...

    Hey James, just incase you were still curious, was looking at a few pics, and it looks like the rear section after the cabin is a fair bit longer on the ute's compared to a LWB AU... So yeah, I'd say the length is there...

    Interesting, I guess with au and newer utes getting a half chassis instead of just being built on a lwb platform like pre au's there was no reason to keep the same wheel base.

    Damn Tony your cars seems to always be on the build process instead of driving, anyway be good once you get her back on the road great these LWB's are !

    This. Then again, with a LWB at just on 75mm high at the lowest point (without anything in the car, and bugger all fuel), it does get tiring after a while... Especially when your at training for work, and can't get into the underground carpark!

    Tony my wife would agree that I'm always mis behaving (not in the wrong way) thats a given can't let them rule the roost but let her think that way but me wonder at times who's outsmarting who LOL.......
