He had owned it for six years, I get the impression he might have just had it shipped from nz?
He's had offers of replacement shell if he want to go that way. Chassis should still be ok.

I'm in Germany at the moment on a long service leave trip. Two months on the continent and surrounds.

Landed from Zagreb yesterday morning into Frankfurt and picked up my Diesel Golf to bum around Bavaria in. Last night in Rothenburg ob de Tauber.

I'll just mention the Autobahn quickly - I was happy to cruise at about 140 km/h. Not the fastest but not the slowest. I felt safe, and not once did I worry about being over a limit. It let me concentrate on a)driving a manual. b) driving on the other side of the road. Shit the autobahns are nice though.
I'm in love with my car. Got a feel for my automobile.

Tell me about it. Aussie drivers (especially new south Welshman) could learn a thing or two. I have...

So, if you get a flat on your Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT front wheel, you have to put your spare on the rear, then put the rear to the front. Pretty bloody poor.

And I still can't get over the bonnet vents - straight through - right above the alternator and electronics. I imagine when driving there would not be a problem, but when parked in the pouring rain?? Forgot to take a pic of the top of the bonnet, but it looks like a big bloody water catchment area. Grabbed a pic off google.

He Loves his SRT so much - its practability, powa, sound, inside gizmos reckons its the best car he's ever had and will look into the Hellcat version once here.
