You'll find most people want everything for nothing in general.

Then if you read some of the stuff at the other forum you would never buy a car from them cause you know it's gonna have problems.

    Yeah pretty much,

The constant fighting to get $$$ out of people gets to you after a while, the last straw for me was someone with a Mercedes ML320 which blew its rear signal acquisition module, it came to $2200 and they were whinging and bitching and moaning about why its 'so expensive'.

Probably because its a Mercedes and its a very common problem on those cars as the tail lights leak and water sits on the module and fries it, we'd done 3 of the same cars for the same problem.

    Lets chuck in another option

    c) Still running business, still rabid ALP supporter

    a) 100:1
    b) 5:1
    c) 300:1

    I'll take c) for $100

We'll do fixed odds so they don't fluctuate.
    Oh Jesus

I'm part of the sales team, we're an importer who mostly deals with OE manufacturers but we've made a play on the auto aftermarket too with friction materials and brake hydraulics.

We've got a young crew as the face of sales, my manager is 22, I'm 25 and the OE sales guy is 28.

They give us a lot of freedom to run things as we want to run them and allow us to be ourselves.

Basically we're trying to build it from the ground up, theres no policies, there is no procedure, its our call to sort it all out on how we want to run the show with some guidance from the upper management.

I'm the only one on the team with automotive industry experience at a ground level so I've been able to connect with our auto workshop customers pretty easily.

Its a good place to be.
