The S/C is off the Ute, been that way for a week - servicing completed, now in transit after 'Debbie' - it's a long wait........
Only got the 30mm belt on it though as delivery of the new carbon fibre belt were delayed....

Had a service done on the Ute; result plug no2 left the thread in the head..... Removal involved two days work removing it.
In the end the mechanic who had never had a high mileage S/C Barra in the shop decided to do a Compression test.... It came in at 175psi each cylinder. Pretty good for an BA engine @ 319,oookm.

The Ute had being playing up lately....... Occasionally stopping..... mostly in some traffic and at any speed. It would just shut down, requiring an ignition reset and just over the last week cold starts meant no cold cycle activation without liberal use of some right foot. Last night in the extra cool at Acacia ridge, throttle was hesitating and running away a little.

Installed another TB today, running as it should again.

The ol' gel has a few legs left yet, mate.
And still creates a little interest, now and again.
