    Motherfuckers and their tap water

One for Damo. With gritty sensations at no added cost! This alternator I reckon had another 6 months left in it.

As an aside, buying car parts from stores these days is shit, I usually end up having to go to two or three just to get what I need and we're talking fairly routine parts here. 20 years ago I could go into Repco or Marlows and got everything in one hit. Even Coventrys these days keeps saying "its in the warehouse"

I also procured a NormSpec (TM) thermostat

Impellor has been eaten away by corrosion!!!!
Very common with old school GT Owners, that don't want that shitty green coolant in their engine.

LOL you're so much like me, buy something secondhand then end up fully restoring it because you can't live with things either being incorrect, poorly maintained or in poor condition.

Sometimes more expensive cars are cheaper.

LOL it's more like I don't want a breakdown or have to pull the car off the road in 6 months time to fix shit I knew was on its way out!

Ahh the joys of owning an old car haha. I just talked a mate out of buying very nice hq premier because of all these issues that always arise on old cars would do his head in. If your a perfectionist an old car isn't for you unless you're prepared to rebuild the whole damn thing to your own perfect specs lol
