Jeez, that's a fail list much newer cars only dream about.
So they take the car for a drive over there? Here in sa, they basically check its not stolen, put a light meter on the windows and sign it off. I had a eb falcon failed for tint and ride height but they only check hub to guard specs, not ground clearance.
Sa - anything goes here. Drive around over here for a day and it's a very good advert for having yearly inspections.
Nice car by the way. Not sure I could own one but they will always turn heads!
Good news RW, easy to get those issues resolved.
YNWA ! off to CL 2018.

One of the things that was on the agenda long before I made the decision to go with this car, was a tracking system.
I looked up all sorts of GPS-based tracking systems that were usually boxes that needed to be wired into the car. Some of them can support remote disablement etc.
But then I figured, in all this smartphone age of awesomeness, why can't I find an app for that?
There is an app for that - and because I have an "old" smartphone lying around doing nothing, I decided to download an app made by https://corvusgps.com which allows me to log in from a pc or smartphone anywhere and track the vehicle.
I'm still getting the hang of the settings and so forth, and I have only just picked up a cheap data-only sim card today to allow me to use it, but with basic testing at home it showed I can track my car to within 5 metres and when the car is on the move, uploads data packets every 10 seconds or something.
Another tinkering job for the weekend!
please keep me up to date on this,
it sounds interesting, but does it use iPhones ..?
