    At some point he will need to relent.

    I'm all for the manual box being offered but they simply wont get the reach or volume without a paddle shift option too, even if the extra weight induces a bit of understeer (which i'm sure can be countered to some degree).

    An auto RS is less likely to see serious motorsport duty anyway so as a road rocket it really wont matter.

    At some point GT350 will need to look at a DSG option too... Sure, leave the 350R Manual only but its just progress and id hate to think FPV level products moving forward will be manual only.

    Hero products like these need to be allowed to get the full impact of the Halo.

    A focus RS at $55KDA with the size and interior space of the Focus and having the added benefits of 4 doors would be quite the appealing choice for many people, but limit it to Manual only probably cuts it out as an option by 65%....

    If it becomes too hard to obtain or own one or they make the product too inflexible to consider it people will switch off to the brand.
