what is the chances of T8 running a 4th car with Richie in it?
If PRA loose him that will be a major travesty of an outcome.

    Not premature at all....

I think he is going to be something a little special in time. He comes across as confident in his own ability - very much the cool kid on the block at the moment...

I dont know about you guys, but while it was pissing down at Bathurst, I was wondering how long before they could get Richie back in the car instead of Cam... I kinda felt sorry for Cam - although the 'Lead' driver, it was almost as if he was playing second fiddle.

It was kinda awkward when they interviewed them after the race, and Cam said something to the effect of.. "hope i have him next year" (as co driver) - it was almost as if they knew he wouldnt be a co-driver next year...

If stanaway gets a full time drive next year, RPA will strugle finding a replacement.

At just on 26 years of age Ritchie has got a broad and diverse range of experience in open wheelers and Tin tops dating back almost 10 years.

Certainly a deeper resume than Cam.

He seems to have done a lot of driving and across a lot of platforms, in many ways a similar pathway and level of experience to Shane VG, funnily enough seems to be adapting as quickly too.

In hindsight I'm not surprised after looking at his resume that he's adapted so well and probably surprised he hasn't been pursued earlier.

    Which brings up another topic.

    Frequency of racing.

I see guys like SVG, Chaz, Scotty etc doing a lot of extra driving in between rounds where ever they can.

Like all elite Sports you need to continually practice your craft to stay at an elite level.

Should there be more test day opportunities? Are all the top guys doing enough in their spare time?

Just as pre Bathurst race having 6 in top 10 having Fords in the top 3 Enduro standings is another good thing BUT means jack shit as we know till what to become end of Gold Coast.
Winning the Enduro Cup is a minor consolation losing Bathurst.
OMG - please go our way for a change.
YNWA ! off to CL 2018.
Sydney is Sky Blue HAL Premiers/Champions 2017 - the Double.

No one remembers Enduro champions. But everyone remembers bathurst champions.
