Better looking than the last 2-3 looks for the ranger.

If the new Ranger comes out looking like that and has a V6 in it, winner winner chicken dinner

I have nothing against the current look, obviously this render is fresh and new and will do no harm. I really hope the interior materials are improved, that's where I'd like to see the work done.

Ranger isn't just a work ute anymore, we need more attention to detail inside, and I don't mean features, we have a great spec list, I just mean higher quality materials, more so in XLT upwards (and Everest)

    Looks ok for a truck.

Wouldn't own one as a daily though.

I really like but the appearance is something I would expect to see sooner rather than later. However by 2019 it will be already look dated. As for a naturally-aspirated V6 no thanks. Not on that big and heavy thing. Add the turbos and you have my interest.

The 3.0 Lion V6 diesel would be the go. 2019 is only 2 years away now, it seems like a long time away but in car terms it is just around the corner

Nah RW, I agree with Colville, they will be late to market as usual.
A V6 is heavy drinker just as the hilux v6 etc but some % don't mind that.
I do prefer turbo diesels, ie RW quoting 3.0Lion or/and ecoboost4 for choice.
Ofcourse you wouldn't norm, I was just as you all my life, knowing you have a younger family than mine you just don't know how suitable/practical they are for kids re sport/odd jobs/holidays etcetc....but don't matter, I know you won't open your mind but bring out the usual wrongs of dual cabs buy a sportwagon
