Toyota to build RWD Halo car.

    More here:

    https://www.motormag.com.au/news/170...caught-testing

The Walking Deadís zombie virus has jumped into inanimate objects, with the once-dead Toyota Supra about to roar back to life.

A twin-turbo 3.5-litre V6 engine, codenamed 943F, which will also spread across to the Lexus range as production cycles free up bonnet space, will take on the heavy-hitter duties. The new engine will bring the Supra up to 300kW and at least 450Nm in rear-drive form, which should be enough to sign on for another ridiculously implausible tuner movie.
Toyota and BMW have worked on a trick differential and launch control for the fastest of their twins, with Nagoya sources suggesting the 3.5-litre Supra will slip beneath four seconds for the sprint to 100km/h, while it will be artificially governed to 250km/h.

Loved my Supra RZ. This will be interesting to see how Toyota execute this latest rendition. Hopefully it won't look anything like the 86 more like the Lexus LC500.

Also nice to see Halo cars alive and well ;-)

I liked the first Supra way back then from the celica dna, unique at the time.
Your turbo A on Col were weapons, always got my eye.
Some of the future pics of Supra concepts never to have made production looked bloody nice.

I was never a huge fan of the supra after the celica/supra model, but this is certainly interesting.

I owned a few of the old girls back home in my younger days, weren't fast but so much fun to drive.

Interesting isn't it - ever since the first Celica dna Supra it has had something about it.
    I've always liked them.
I'm finding this quite amusing at the same time for this forum - toy company halo fapping haha...better get back in your spaces some of you.
