    Gen 6 Mustang Production figures

    Production data:

    Gen 6 Mustang production
    2014.............46,178 (95,231 - 49,053) Production began mid Jul 2014.
2015............165,138 (RHD Production begins Sept 2015)
    2016............142,382
    2017 (7MO)....81,102
    TOTAL.........434,800

With 2018 production starting mid October, it's likely that figure will be closer to 445,000
and while that's total production from July 2014 and there's still unsold inventory, all of
those Gen 6 Mustangs are being made and will be sold.

One vehicle type in coupe and convertible sells 440K up to it's first MCE, that's an indisputable success.
Our near 13,000 combined Mustang sales are but a tiny part in the grand scheme.

    Dang ran out of time

Here's chart with approximate RWD builds added..

Gen 6 Mustang production (approx RHD - one in every ten builds)
    2014.............46,178....................(95,231 - 49,053) Production began mid Jul 2014.
2015............165,138.......(6,434) (RHD Production begins Sept 2015)
    2016............142,382.....(14,238)
    2017 (7MO)....81,102.......(8,110)
    TOTAL.........434,800......(28,782)

Since our sales last year were 6,200 and 2017 YTD is ~6,700 so far
it also means that Australia's allocation is nearly half the RHD builds,
that gives us a seat at the table for future discussions..

That is only an average of a bit over 700 a month.
According to Wheels they sold 1351 in May this year alone.
