Just been told the conversion is approx $15k including engineering and roadworthy. The modern conversions are claimed to improve the drive and handling unlike older kits. The only negative is that cost is not typically recoverable, meaning the car is worth no more or less converted to RHD. Something to think about I guess.

15K seems on the upper end of costs so it will be a good job.

    I disagree it's not recoverable.

I've found RHD Stangs "like for like" have been consistently more expensive then LHD ones while i was looking at buying.

Thanks mate! Yeah, put a deposit down yesterday Norm. It's a factory Windsor 351, balanced & stroked to 408 ci, high comp, largish roller cam, roller rockers, bigger valves and a fair amount of head work etc. Runs a C6 but no high stall at the moment ( will change that ) . 9" gears are also set for cruising. Motor only built 600 miles ago. Rest of the car was restored about 5 years ago. Has factory air cond but not fitted at the moment ( will be supplied ). It's not perfect and there are lots of things I would like to do still but it's extremely tidy as a base and drives beautifully.
