Yeah I understand the differences, I don’t understand why the LHD setup doesn’t have the same issue

It's a different shape that clears the steering shaft.
Look at the pipes for Cylinders 7 and 8, they tuck in and down, away from the area of interference.

Yep, so effectively what’s happened is the steering column on the RHD is either more bulky or a different shape to that fitted to the LHD car.

Hence why the LHD car doesn’t have a clearance issue.

You would think that in a mirror image RHD conversion would fit
in earlier Mustangs they would cant the engine to the right to make
more room for steering on the left side - I don't think that was done
this time around but the steering change seems like a real bitch with
Ford using smaller tube size to clear everything....

This has to be some sort of lazy ass work around by Dearborn engineers,
FOA would never do a conversion like this...

Check out video from 40 seconds it shows the problem...LINK

It can only be lazy shortcut engineering because if the car was fully symetrical mirror engineered the problem wouldnt exist.

Things like handbrake side etc would be addressed too.

Such a small mod for so much noise! That said, I think I prefer the sound quality of the stock system lol. I must be getting old.

    LOL, same.

120db is really pushing it and with so much versitility in the stock settings it kind of makes the mod pointless.
