Well, lets see it to believe it first off.
The only way I see many will buy is "price" for otherwise its open season.
YNWA ! off to CL 2018.

I agree. It won't sell on merit this time - Camry and Passat are better cars.

For all their failings, I'd sooner be in Ford's position than Holden's...

I cannot believe the reversal of fortunes, 2018 is gonna be "interesting times" for Holden,
the reckoning - living without the Commodore that buyers wanted....

Things change in the car game fairly quickly. A car can become poison and send a company to the wall.

True, reality was Holden couldn't justify the next product cycle with such skinny build numbers,
had they developed their own "Territory", Commodore may have been harder to dislodge.

But it really doesn't matter anymore, what Holden does or doesn't do with products now matters
and I think the cat is slowly coming out of the bag.....

Media Release from SA Police today

A suitability project by SA Police has led to the Kia Sorrento and the new overseas built Holden Commodore (ZB) being identified as suitable for use as general duties vehicles.

In 2017 SA Police commenced a project to identify vehicles to replace the Australian built Holden Commodore.

SA Police has now taken delivery of six Kia Sorrentos that have been fitted for general duties patrol use. The Kia will be released into the field shortly for suitability testing and evaluation.

The new Holden Commodore will be imported from Germany and will not be available in Australia before March 2018. Fit out and operational testing will occur in South Australia after this time.

Australian and New Zealand Policing agencies (ANZPAA) approved a set of national vehicle specifications for a general duties police vehicle. The national specifications have a minimum 5 Star ANCAP safety rating to ensure existing high standards are maintained.

Safety was a significant consideration in the selection process and the KIA Sorrento recently received the highest ever safety rating in crash testing for an SUV in Australia.

During the field trials, the six new Kia Sorrentos will be deployed throughout the state.

Holden now only has about 430 VF IIs left with dealers, they should be all sold in the next few months.
There's only about 10 new FWD/AWD Commodores in stock, maybe these are just lead cars at certain
    dealerships and evaluation centres?

They have shit loads of Motorports and Directors left.

    They’re just not advertising them.

I went past a dealer last week with 5 out on their lot.

The dealer I bought my VF off rang me 2 weeks ago trying to flog me one.

The asking price is silly, people went and bought LSA R8’s instead.

The dealer I was going through rung me a few weeks back and asked if I had changed my mind on a magnum.
I asked him if he had changed the 6k dealer delivery charge...
    no to both questions haha
