Lol they’re kidding themselves at $80k

Just not enough over a 60k redline.

So much for being sold out, I’d say nearly 33% are still unsold.

By the way, dealers that gouged 15k on W1’s might be just about to find themselves in hot water with the ACCC...

He admitted they’re drip feeding their stock onto the market.

Excessive fee's above what's considered ressonable or "industry standard".

    There's lawyers involved.

I know of another high Profile Dealer network from another brand that took advice from their own lawyers NOT to overcharge above RRP for specials or they risked exposure to the ACCC if the purchaser took them on.

This is straight from the GM's mouth.

How on earth do they justify $6K delivery charge?

Good, excess profiteering is disgusting, especially on a car with so much fat...
A quick look on carpoint, there seems to be 192 Redines left...

The issue is exposed once they construct a complete DETAILED invoice for the finance company with full break down.

Up till this point they can hide.

This is where they have to expose a one off charge without explination, or call it dealer delivery.

$15000 for dealer delivery is exessive. Especially when you can demonstrate every other HSV is 3-5K.

The key is to have the car in your posession to avoid losing your allocation.

Then ask the Dealer to exlain the 15K line entry.

RRP for the W1 is $160K + onroad costs.

ACCC protects against excessive fees that can't be justified..

but you also have the right to charge for your services a fee you feel justiied
the client does not have to purchase from them if they find it excessive

With every day products that's fine, but these were low run limited specials and consumers were threatened with losing their allocation.

So the dealers are putting a gun to people's heads.
