Itís that time of the year, first major motor show

We are quickly approaching the first major motorshow of the new year, the traditional time where GM make a statement one day and itís altered the next. The traditional time where the Australian automotive media make cocks of themselves and I strongly suspect, a time where Australianís join together to lament a look but donít touch product offering.

What Ford news are we looking forward to?
History is a statement, the future is a question.

TBH I just don't have vested interest anymore as I once had.
Without our own product we just get whats coming through the docks - half baked or baked depending on the brand.
YNWA ! off to CL 2018.
Sydney is Sky Blue HAL Premiers/Champions 2017 - the Double.

    Ford wise:

More news on Mustang here in GT form and any news on the prospect of a GT 500.
I'm also interested in the Ranger Raptor and any updates to the Everest (if at all)

As for other manufacturers, nothing much locally available other than some prestige brands interests me.
The Walkinshaw Camaro has my interest somewhat but only as a comparison to what we will have with Mustang.

To be blunt there is nothing coming up that I am hanging out for. Falcon is gone and there is no real substitution in the realistic future. I am curious how the Ranger Raptor will turn out. I love my new Ranger and depending on future circumstances may look at something like this. The Wildtrak has never interested me. The pricing for the Enduro will be interesting. If Ford get it right it should be a good seller. However, that should have been the case with the Escape as well.

So it is not so much the news on what is coming product wise, but more what Ford will do market wise. Have they learned, or will they continue to be a two product company?

One rumour is that S650 has been canned and more job shedding on the way.
