OK I could accept they won't do RHD 500's, why not 350's in that case or worst case scenario FP2.
When I look to have my next performance fix it won't be a Ford unless FP2 is at least a factory option on Pony otherwise I'm gone.
Yeh all we get is overpriced factory options like MRC for $3k and Recaro seats for $3k.

Watch out for the MY18 price hike we are also going to get.

Maybe FPV's and LE Falcons may start appreciating in value quicker then we thought

    Come on guys chin up.

These hi Po cars push the limit of saleability in the states.

They didn’t test GT350 for euro pedestrian standards. It’s not that it wouldn’t pass, Ford weren’t prepared for the millions it costs to do so.

There are regulation changes coming for the US market that bring them into line with the rest of the world.

The Zl1 comaro couldn’t be sold here either for similar reasons. Noise, emmsions, our laws are just tougher.

What’s hurting us is the disbandment of Justin and his team.

They could have been working on solutions for all RHD markets. Ford have no vision.
History is a statement, the future is a question.

A Rousche kit delivered new with the car is the answer. SAM Ford in Auckland does that. So included new with a new car warranty, a well recognized package. A variety of options to get something very special. Particularly a supercharger, but also programmable exhaust, suspension and drive train upgrades, as requested. I think that is an attractive option for holding value as the car is not "modified", but rather a package from new.

I've also seen a new Mustang with some body kit changes and a stripe package that made a good looking car much better than standard. With thought, one can get something really great, and unique.

Ford Motor Company [NYSE: F] held a press conference to discuss its electrified future today, and during the show the company dropped some news that will prove electric for fans of performance cars. Ford teased the most powerful street legal production model to ever come from the Blue Oval, the next-generation Ford Mustang Shelby GT500.

Not only did Ford release an image of the car, but the Dearborn brand also let slip that the GT500 would make more than 700 horsepower. Ford only said that the power would come from a supercharged V-8. We expect it to be a 5.2-liter V-8 with a cross-plane crank instead of the flat-plane crank in the GT350.

What we see in the teaser is the gaping maw of the beast. It's the functional front end of the car, with big air intakes to feed the coolers that make this car track worthy. The Shelby snake logo has a prominent place in the middle of the grille.

The image shows what appear to be bulging fenders as well, likely to make room for wide tires and perhaps a wider track.

More details are yet to come and many are sure to involve parts that make this car go fast around a racetrack.

Look for the next Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 in 2019 as a 2020 model.

starting to get a very wide front stance.
Gapping hole as mentioned to help with cooling - don't why but I'm relating to some form of a lexus frontage.
Well, once again like looking in the lollie shop.

    FG2 front

    Had to say it.

The blackness is hiding a lot of details but looks good so far.

Apart from not being able to be purchased here off the floor.

Still the details, price and so on will be interesting.

If you want your mind blown go look at FG2 front then turn it upside down, and compare it to FGX.

    You're welcome.
