Bravo Franco but horse's for course's.....
They do ride tough hence the M sport options.

Just because it's 'popular' doesn't mean it's 'good', it just means your average person has rocks in their head and needs to be euthanised.
I think it depends on what engine you end up with.

The X3 of mine was a damn good car - F25 LCi with the 3.0D, M Sport, and a couple of other features. It is still one of the fastest cars I have ever driven, handled well, and used barely any diesel. That 3.0 Diesel of BMW's is probably the best diesel engine in a passenger vehicle anywhere in the world today (other than the 4.2 V8 of VW/Audi). The 8 Speed auto shifts better than a DSG with none of the hesitation. M Sport mode just transforms the car into an SS Commodore beating weapon.

The 2.0 Diesel is a dog in comparison.

I would love to have a drive of the 3.5D in the X4 - that would be a great car, if they weren't so ugly at the back (and the F25 is no looker).

At some point i'll retire the Sprint and need a replacement.

Then there's the AU ute too, it would be awesome to have a blend of both in something off the showroom floor.

Something like a Ranger Titanium S.

    - Slightly lower magnaride Sports suspension.

    - 21 x 10/11 wheels with 285/325 Continentals (Ala M Sport X5).

    - 10 Speed auto

    - 345kw Di Coyote. (Miami a pipe dream). Or if i have to give in TTV6 with 280kw.

    - Full premium interior.

This would get serious attention from me.
Yeh this would be an option for me too Norm. The motor is not so huge because at the end of the day it would be a ranger. Whatever form it is, it would have to be a marked improvement on the standard powerplant and a distinct advantage to aftermarket offerings.

What would Ford do if the F150 Raptor came our with an EB4 motor? Would they say it's not about the motor?

A fair analogy would be if the F150 Raptor was released with the 3.0 Powerstroke...
It's about knowing what your customers want, diesel is now the Mission of Ranger Raptor.

Looks a great vehicle, great looks, very practical, great suspension, something special... but missing a Falcon motor.

Still unique , with no direct competition, it would be very interesting to test drive one. The nature of the Everest when I drove that was that it was still a really enjoyable vehicle to drive, even without Falcon performance. So maybe the two litre is just fine in vehicle like this.

It won’t be slow with the 10 speed auto. I suspect it will hold its own but I still wish it was the 2.7 Ecoboost V6

    x 3 link now works.

I was at a large 4x4 customer meet this afternoon.
After the meet having a chat I asked what did they think of the Raptor.
    Loved it.
More so based on that it will enhance more copies as per what we went through with HSV/FPV/Tickford copies of owners not affording it but doing up similar to their XLT/XLS's etc.
