    4 door mustang?

    https://www.motor1.com/news/273890/f...ang-four-door/

Itís an interesting one this, because as we know the stepping back of cars as such does indeed open up questions on if at long last the mustang platform will be extended as itís becomes more intergrated in a reduced platform portfolio.
History is a statement, the future is a question.

    4 door mustang?

While Iím not particularly interested in another 4 door, I know many are. I think as long as they maintain that coupe look and feel like Audi have done with the 5 door A5 range then it should do well.

Execution will be everything. If it turns out to be the Mustangs ugly cousin then it may degrade from the entire brand. The turbo V8 got my attention!

Can't see this particular model going ahead, but if it does the execution would be very interesting. I can't see it because it is too much of a risk for a company that is very risk adverse. Working on another 4 door RWD based on the Mustang platform would make sense and be an interesting concept. I think that there is enough demand in US and global for it to go ahead. Having said that I wouldn't buy it as that would mean getting rid of Vader. Ian would have something to say about that!

Not sure about a 4 door mustang.

But more than happy for this platform to be used for a new model 4 door car. Hint hint
