It’s a weird article to me. I would like to see a full transcript of the interview to see what questions were asked to illicit those responses.

I say this because look at the focus spent in frosty. The media and indeed fans have made a side attraction of bashing Tickford. This gets clicks. It’s topical.

He is saying he didn’t feel the love of the support.

Frosty has effectively said the same thing. We fell out of love.

I am ok wit this if this is where it stops. Compared to mark it’s a single statement but is also on record as admitting he didn’t do the right things.

It takes two as they say.

It is however time to put a foot forward and prove Tickford wrong. That’s the biggest backhander either driver can deliver now.

He has admitted his behaviour was a let down to himself. Let’s say it was an act of frustration.

Is what he is saying really any different to what’s been said by many.

Too many cars, not enough resources, too distracted.

Is it unreasonable to point out, ok I have stuck my hand up, but internally there was shit that was going on that needed to be addressed.

The part I don’t agree with is the insinuation that they didn’t want to try.

Funding a car for him in this environment is a good act not a poor one and indeed ine that might have pushed things too far if the drivers weren’t up to the task of driving a difficult car.
Yes he may have a point. However Richie has already pointed out he wasn't happy and Frosty leaving you don't have to be a scientist to understand that there was something wrong going on behind the scenes. My point is that he has done nothing as yet in the top level, so Richie needs to tread a little more carefully than most. He has to look at himself as a product and sell himself better. This does nothing to move him forward. Get some points under his belt and he can then show what he can do with a team behind him. Then say what you want. But till then, shut up, work hard, and get to the front.

If you are asked a question you can answer it. All he has said is there wasn’t funding to run 4 cars and he paid a price.

    Ok fair enough.

The one thing I am pretty sure Tim Edwards would agree with is as a team they didn’t do a good enough job.

It’s not like Richie has said it over and over. It’s in fact the first negative comment since he left the team. His first being it’s on me.

That’s fair enough behaviour I think.

    Low hanging fruit.

I think the proliferation of Frosty articles are just about this, it incites reaction and gets clicks....

While ever publications rely on click traffic to attract income they'll peruse easy stories that incite the most reaction.

I know it is busy Norm but I like it. It has only been the last 12 months that I have suddenly liked the Supercheap livery. Don't know why but it has grown on me.

The number one thing is making sure your sponsors are proportionally recognized.

The rest takes care of itself.

I will be very interested in thoughts on this.

It's better than I had hoped.

It's a fair bit different to last years for starters.

Tickford have clearly attracted a lot of extra small sponsors to Chaz, aesthetically the only visual conflict for me is the Bendix section, but as i've said, liveries are there to make sure you're sponsors are easily recognized and meet branding criteria, so it does its job.

It also looks like the top of the windscreen is a spot yet to fill too...
