Understatement of the year... I would've just let it go, but I was across each side of the road, and with a car right on my ass chasing me, and another car coming the other way, it was too dangerous if I hadve just spun it around, so had no choice apart from to hold it sideways at 100 ish until I had it near straight...

I love the seats though, need some softer leather BA XR seats though due to a few back issues that I've had since the age of 12...

Edit: Captain Facebook Slow Maurie? Lol... Love it!
hehe I'm loving it as well - fun amongst good friends.

Yes I like the seats as well in yours - great upgrade as they say.

Tyres very important - get what you pay for as they say.

Too true Maurie. Started work at Audi last week, now have my hands on 2 245/40/18" semi's... Will be getting them puncture checked, then they'll go onto two spare 18x8 rims I picked up last week...

Put LED's into the corner lights last night, and have HID's and LED Parker's on order now from AutoPlatonium...

So, the ol' girl has been retired. Put some 16" FTR's back onto it a few weeks ago, then a few days later the engine just lost all oil pressure driving home... So now she's been de-registered (it'll need a blueslip when I'm done), and pretty much all the manual stuff is coming out and being sold.

I'll upload a pic when I can. I've got a new phone so it's a bit hard when I haven't got any pics haha.

So, i got bored and started putting the interior back together... Just needs a back seat and a clutch pedal, and that's the interior back together.

FYI, it's gotta be back on the road within a few weeks, hence why it's being put back together

Till this day the EF/L interior remains my favourite.
“…The lies (Western slander) which well-meaning zeal has heaped round this man are disgraceful to ourselves only…How one man single-handedly, could weld warring tribes and wandering Bedouins into a most powerful and civilized nation in less than two decades….A silent great soul, one of that who cannot but be earnest. He was to kindle the world; the world’s Maker had ordered so." - Thomas Carlyle

I'm a bit torn. I like the EF dash with quad dials better than the BA one, but I'll have the BA climate HMI (ICC) over the E series one every day.

Tony - I might pick your brains one day soon, because I've convinced myself to keep the EF, but it's going to become my hobby car - the first job is to fit Climate control.
I'm in love with my car. Got a feel for my automobile.
