    LOL I swear they're like concrete the N5000's.... awful in the wet but even im surprised with the mileage, they weren't done yet either...

    Weren't those rotten 5000's noisy as you know what ?
    Archilles have stepped into the good budget tyre, wonder what they'll be like from mid wear on.

    They were surprisingly quiet.!!!

    Achillies do high performance tyres now too, had semi slicks in stock that look alot like toyo/Yokohamas

    Ok, regarding tyre wear i thought id share my set-up and maintenance routine:

    - The car has NEVER had a front end alignment: same as the day it left the factory, car tracks straight as a die.
    - Use 38psi F/R checked fortnightly.
    - Rotate F to R every 10000K's

    That's it! Even at 95000 k's they had 5 left in them, incredibly even wear, about 1mm off wear indicators with the only sign of abnormal wear the inside edges nearly done but still RW.

    Sorry Norm, to get 95,000kms out of a set of tyres your simply not trying hard enough. Hand in your man card.

    LOL mate, the night before i replaced them i tried a bit of a skid and they wouldnt even smoke... Freaking hard compound..

    Anyway the way things are going ill be stuck in a bum dragger which is a bit like castration anyway....
