ba gtp fuel consumption.
Hi all i have just brought a ba gtp i have noticed the idle instant fuel at around 3 and the fuel at 13l per 100 on tthe high way. Thought this was a little high in comparison to my typhoon that was 2l at idle and 10 on the high way. Any other got a comparision?

I had a manual BA GTP for a couple of years and did 85,000km most of it using a petrol log. I got an average of low 13s l/100km in highway driving at 110-120 km/h. The BA has the first generation of BOSS so therefore does not have all of the later electronics an tuning. A simple flash, CAI and less constricted exhaust will make a fair bit of difference.

I have had three boss motors (BAI XR8, BAII GT and BF Super Pursuit) and that fuel consumption is pretty normal. I also found my Typhoon was notably better on fuel than the Boss unless my right foot got heavy, then it drank just as much as the Boss.

Mate, I'd rejoice with fuel consumption figures like that!
Mine idles at over 5, with a combined average in the mid 20's. 99.9/100 on the instant display is pretty routine lol.
Hope that makes you feel a little better hahaha

my 2003 ba xr8 returned 11 lt per 100 kl on the highway from the day i bought it to the day i sold it , and around 12.5 around town , so far my 2012 gs is at about 12.5 on the highway
i am giving it a few spurts now and then and also changing my speed , until it is run in , i reckon it should run on the highway at about 12 lt per 100 kl , both are manual ,
