For me its the XY. We had one as our first family car, Yellow ochre 302 4sp XY falcon 500, brand new from Melford motors in Elizabeth street, i remember it coming home the first time, i was only 4.
Dad and i used to make a "father son" event every Saturday afternoon cleaning it, then of coarse we'd have to "test drive" it afterwards to the drive through bottle shop! the trip would also inevitably include atleast 2 or 3 traffic light contests... loved that sound.! Its where i got hooked.

My 1'st Falcon and Ford and still have it to this day, and allway's will.
XC coupe and sedans. My love affair with Fords really kicked off in 77 watching Moffat/Bond dominate. Followed by an XC GXL my Dad had for a short time. Later I owned a XC GS panel van 351. Not the greatest model Ford by a long shot but I still feel sentimental about this model to this day.
For me it was my XC but that is mostly because it was the car I lived in for two years and actually learned to drive in.

I've always had a soft spot for the XB Sedan. GS, 302, 4 on the Floor. You'd never get one today for realistic dollars.
Otherwise, the EF Sedan. I've had two now, and both have been fantastic, reliable cars. They're getting too long in the tooth for daily driving activities, however as a weekend cruiser that is getting rarer and rarer, my EF isn't going anywhere.
ED XR6 for me, have had two and want another to go all out on. It was my first car so that probably explains it.
Will probably always own an AU in one way or another too.
5.8 litre XD Ghia.
XW has my heart, I just loved the grill from day one.
After that the XE ESP, I had one in grey over charcoal 5.8, 4 speed.
Damn tbh I cannot really pick out just one single model for I have many that have hit the spot.
My dad had a beautiful xr white fairmont with the blue seats that I adored, then the HO's ! Then he had a xa fairmont thought looked tuff. a xb super bird coupe 302 came along just when I was starting to drive. Xe ESP turned me on.
Eb Gt got me going again.

AUIII Fairmont Ghia. My old man brought one home back in the day (gee, 11 years ago, it doesn't feel like it) and I was such a fan of this car- leather, woodgrain, climate control, sunroof, wow! Being young and impressionable, I decided that Fords were best and have been into Fords since then.
