Operate pretend trucks mostly, sometimes you manage to cobble together a decent paying load all the same...
Most of the time though I drive a desk, rather than the truck.
I look at them all day long, joy of working in a 3pl transport yard.
Always an interesting cross section of humanity to see when dealing with interstaters
Always prefer to be loading or unloading owner operators, you can almost always see the difference in the way the trucks are cared for.
Old Atkinson's, at high school we used to watch Camberwell city councils baby blue 4870's, they were twin steer with dog trailers, 8V92TTA, Allison auto's, the drivers used to allways give us a toot as they went past!

Yer like HD, some mad looking ones nowadays - I was just talking to a customer yesterday at their shop and of how the LED's have grown and grown the last 5yrs or so.
Some mean looking "BLING" on the rigs.
I'm all over this like white on rice.
