The XR6T...

Just thought I'd post a build thread of sorts.

The car:

The specs:

- Engine is completely stock bar a K&N filter (needs a clean), 243rwkW
- Stock TR-6060 and clutch
- Nolathane centre diff bush with custom side bushes
- Bilstein shocks all round, stock springs (need the ride height)
- Front end suspension very recently re-done with SuperPro bushes
- DBA4000 rotors with DS Performance pads, braided brake lines
- Custom leather interior
- FPV cluster, full keyless start

Well done, good choice on some of the better Aftermarket brands used.

I hate my F wheels , you guys with FG,s , what is the biggest wheel and tyre combos I can get under it with out guard clearance problems ?

The immediate plans are to fit new bolsters (seat back and squab) to both front seats (happening Wednesday). Further down the track are the fitment of a Wavetrac LSD in place of the OEM LSD centre, SuperPro to replace what's left of the OEM bushes in the rear suspension, and a set of Herrod cooler pipes (the OEM pipes I'm constantly retightening).

Have any of you used Mainlube product (diff and gearbox oil)? The diff is annoying the shit out of me with its sloppiness and I have no ETA as to when the Wavetrac is coming in. Based on what is over at AFF, its supposed to be the ducks guts at shutting the diff and gearbox up.

Its meant to be but its also expensive....and if your gonna change the diff then why waste the money. There would be a Penrite oil with a LSD additive that would do the job in the meantime.

I just threw in Penrite 70-75 in the gearbox over the weekend and so far its a big improvement of the dextron. But the mainlube stuff (about $400 for the pack) is meant to last longer and better protection....according to the salesman...but he seems to have the evidence to back himself up.
