The last hurrah (a hypothetical)

Ford have decided due to the huge demand for the GT-RSpec, I mean XR8, that they have enough bikkies in the tin to make one more FGx model based on FG2 FPV.
For political reasons they will not make a GT-F clone (something to do with interfering with sales of VF 6 cylinder sport wagons) :)
Also all the V8s are spoken for so the new model will be a T6.

The choices are:

XR6 Sprint (F6 sedan)
XR6 Drifter (F6 ute)
G6E Landau (F6E)

The Landau will have the same brake config as the XR8 and F6 as in brembo front only to keep the cost down.
The XR6s are available in manual and auto, the Landau in auto only. All have the 310kw F6 engine and associated components.
They will all be $10k dearer than the lower model they are based on.

So which, if any, would you buy (hypothetically)?
Also in this hypothetical all the XR8s have been allocated so you cannot get one.

XR6 Sprint. Will be the most logical sought after and collectible of the lot (and the easiest to do)

No brainer, XR6 Sprint.

I would have concerns with calling the luxury model a Landau as it is not a coupe.

Well FPV Pursuits and Super Pursuits were not sedans like the originals......

None of the above, to me something like FPV doesn't have overly much more appeal than their regular counterparts, flashy seats, maybe slightly stiffer suspension and very expensive brakes.

If you are like me you won't bother taking your cars to the track so its not really neccessary to have Brembos on a street car, slotted rotors made out of "softer" compound like euro stuff, aggressive pads should do the job nicely.

$10K more than their respective models, $10K buys you a mandrel bent turbo back exhaust, FMIC, stainless induction piping from turbo to throttle body, stiffer valve springs and a tune, might be able to squeeze a different turbo in that budget too.

I'd be more willing to buy something basic like the XR6T and spend the extra $10K in making it go faster myself and keeping it bland on the outside to not attract attention to myself.

EDIT: Just saw the other option of XR6T/XR6T Ute/G6E, can you change my vote to that please?

A G6ET , and just empty the cupboard with what ever is left, just thro every thing on it .....
