Interesting. You would think them using a flat tray would indicate there nothing special diff wise., which is what was stopping them doing a true hipo ute previously wasn't it?
Could be a test mule for anything.mayobe testing engines for a hipo xr6t?
Question is why does it have that big piece of bar at the front, a tray with tool boxes? To me it looks more like a ute they use to tow / push broken down cars out of the road!!
Anyone bought this months Top gear will see the unseen GTF test mule too named Frankenstein... some interesting photos in there of rusted out Territorys and Falcons that look like they went straight from the line to the dump.
Also interesting to note the 5.0 doesn't need a bonnet bulge.
Here we go - FoA's last stand Falcon Ute 1tonner soon to come :)
Look TBH great news - it would sell well with the tradies even though most are used to getting dual cabs nowadays.
I think that is just a franken-ute they use for general duties at the PG. And hey, why not make some sort of monster using bits of mules that are left over. It isn't like this thing will ever get onto public roads.
Or just staff having a play in an old mule........
If Caradvice paid for those photos, then they are more stupid than I thought.
