Didn't this one cause a stir. Thankfully those screws were replaced. Hinted at the stripe scheme and created some discussion about the alignment of the 351 and that theme

This was a good one. Much debate was held over what seat was being shown here and there was the stipe. Good memories of this one.

This was the first time I started to think about smoke as a serious colour choice. Loved this photo. Spent so much time looking at it and analysing it.

Who can remember what they thought when they saw each of these pictures?

The best car i have ever bought on so many levels.
Also the most i have spent on speeding fines, i wouldn't mind other than the demerit points.
Only time will tell how much legend status will attach to it for the future.?

Was great getting the tease photos. Reminded me of the B-Series launch. Great car and congrats again to all that bought. Could never afford one but then I was really waiting for the XR8.

I want a 351 :(

When I saw the pic's, I was thinking yes, Yes, YEs, YES, YES n the smoke colour, just loved it. I remember smiling from ear to ear, If I remember correctly I was happy for days. The 351 GT-F, I'll never be able to buy one, but never say never

I remember pondering back then what car I would prefer. The last XR8 or a GT F. Back then I determined it was the GT F. Nothing has changed since.

I debated about going all out for a GTF, or hang out for a XR8..?
Having driven both, and all tho the F is almost twice the price, going for the F was the best choice by far.
If i hadn't i wouldn't regret a XR8 , but the F is the right choice than and now.

Ah good times, the nervous wait for the reveal. I too debated gtf or XR8. As nice as the XR is I still wouldn't change my decision. The gtf is just something else.

Even tho it was a evolution of the FPV GT,s , it is a unuque car in its own right.
Every thing about it makes it special and apart from the GT,s that went befor it.
