I've seen this mentioned here but can't find it again tho by memory I think it was 4vman mentioned it (apologies if I've got that wrong). Perhaps real perhaps tongue in cheek unsure. But given rumours on the Focus RS forums whether true or false that the RS limits boost in its first 1xxx kms was curious if this Sprint tidbit is accurate or not?

Yes. We believe this is the case. Not sure hobbling is the word but rather programmed to run rich, which is inefficient and by design won't make the power it will with more kms on it.
Any word on how many k's before it adjusts ?
I think I heard 1500 km for the 8
The 6 may be less km tho
