KFC is getting into home delivery in Australia

KFC will launch a home delivery trial next month with Foodora as the fried chicken business looks for new ways to reach its customers.
Managing director Nikki Lawson revealed to Business Insider that the trial will begin in the next two to three weeks, starting a store in the Sydney beachside suburb of Manly, with up to 12 stores involved.
Lawson said the full list of trial stores is not yet finalised, but will be based around Foodora's strongest delivery areas.
"You've got to work out what's our trade zone versus what's the delivery company's trade zone and how those dovetail together," she said.
"You don't want to annoy consumers who sit in the dark spots in between, or you don't want to end up delivering a product where you can't guarantee their freshness."

Doubt it. It would be more the fact that people don't walk. There seems to be this need to drive children to school. Then the ridiculous price for grass level sports these days in comparison to 10 to 15 years ago.

Not like fast food is cheap in this country. You can have a better meal for cheaper and have lunch the next day.

The issue is calorie in V calorie out no doubt, but you simply cannot out exercise a bad diet.

Its incredibly easy to eat a calorie surplus with processed fast foods, and there isnt enough hours in the day to burn off the excess calories.

Foods like KFC are very calorie dense and high in trans fats.

Average KFC meal: 3 pieces of chicken and chips is about 1500 calories.

The daily allowance for a mildly active adult is 2200 calories.

That leaves you 700 calories for the rest of the day....

KFC isn't the worst thing you can eat, without question foods high in simple sugars are, but there are better alternatives.

Obviously many like this crap - thats their problem but alas saying this a % end up clogging up our hospitals sooner or later.

Todays world, just by your mobile app, service at your finger tips whilst not getting off the couch.

If your eating it all the time then yes it's not good. But that's like all food that's bad for you. At least it's not touted as healthy like subway.

Uber eats is showing delivery just isn't viable in a lot of areas.

People should just get off their ass and go get their junk food lol
