Those on other forums I'm sure have noticed the epic fail by photobucket.
As of the 20/6 you must have a premium account to allow hot linking of pics onto forums such as this one.
That is $400 us a year.
Note it's not just free accounts that are effected, it's all accounts except the very top paid ones.
So all those tutorials and build threads will soon become useless, if they haven't already.
Tapatalk is now my choice of image hosting.

I really don't get what photofucket is trying to achieve here, surely they aren't deluded enough to think people will actually pay it?
hmm, thats not good. i use photobucket to for all the pics i want to share on forums.
what other options are there for pic sharing, other than adding as an attachment straight off your device?
I'm using tapatalk now, well I had already started using it for image hosting as photofucket been getting so buggy it's been almost unusable anyway.Quote:

If you're not a big pb user you might be right for a while, there's a threshold you cross before they lock your account and it seems a lot of smaller users are still ok. Mine is still active but I'm not using it anymore.
