Huge shift is Lorenzo going to Honda the home of his enemy fellow countryman current Champ Marquez.
This could end in tears similar to Prost Senna days for eg. but wow gonna present action on the track.
Our own Jack Miller steps up to a good Ducati satellite team Pramac.
He needs to be up there this season hopefully.
IF you have never seen motogp live at PI I highly recommend it !
Seeing them hit 300 down the main straight then to lean over to the right prepare for T1 is a sight to see, or watching from entry last corner onto the main straight is to die for seeing them lean and get the power down.

Been watching, like forever. Have loved the last few years, fan of marquez. Really wish stoner raced on n also miss simoncelli. Really hoping Miller has a great year, just needs to stay on his bike. I think if he can do that he'll finish top 10 if not top 5. But really needs to come to terms with beast he'll be riding this year to push for more wins n be a contender

I absolutely admire Marquez's talent, crazy mad yet holds it up most times but I don't like him that much and that typical squeaky spanish voice lol.....but yer wow the way he smashs corners is nearly as good as Caseys.
I've always liked Jorge (even though on yamaha those days) - he's like the typical spanish bull.
I'm a Honda follower due to a long history but I'm also a massive Duke fan and once CS got on those un ridable pigs back then once sorted he was AMAZING - I love his dirt bike style (reminded me of the huge power slide era of Gardner/Doohan times) and how he proved his massive talent that Rossi couldn't replicate what CS did says it all.
Real shame he retired too early but I get it, he's not the high profile type, hates the attention, hated the motogp media circus, Dorna, worse the tech growing in the game, as he quoted, the riders with less talent can ride those beasts farfar easier than no tech and the riders skill then is for all to see.
I still use that great quote of his - your ambition outweighs talent of Rossi lol......
Mind you I can't not admire VR. Legend.
Yer Simo, sorely missed what a ugly accident, he would still be in the mix and contending.
Fingers crossed Miller keeps it together, missing not having a Aussie contending.
-
Yeah, Honda all the way. Only went for duc cause of stoner but now Miller. I think the death of Marco Sim was the last straw for stoner, he may say it was how the sport was changing but the death of a friend was main reason I think
Yeah I love that line stoner said Rossi "ambition out weighs ya talent "
I use to watch it back when I was a kid, always saw Barry Sheen racing even though they were replays. Thankfully it's the only racing still on FTA for the full season.
Marc Marquez is a hell of a rider, I think even better then Rossi. Was never a real fan of Rossi just found it hard to like him. Lorenzo also not a huge fan. Will certainly be interesting to see how Marc n Lorenzo race now on same team. Wonder if championship will stay with Honda or will it move as a result of Lorenzo n Marc taking points off each other which could allow someone else to accrue more. Either way should be a good season.

look Simmo's death would go through every riders minds but it wasn't the catalyst.
My brother knows him.
Man, the age divide, I was watching before Gardner's 87 win.
Those wild 500 2 strokes !
Fast Freddie Spencer in '85 won all 3 divisions, what a hoot to watch, he had a hectic race weekend eh lol........
Once VR defected in the dark of night doing the deal in the pit motor home I lost respect of him but as time has passed I can't not admire what he has done for the sport.
We used to get pissed off his overnight tyres made for race day for he had a stacked deck but the rules were too open back then and thats what lead teams/riders do.
I expect its Hondas to lose and likely not going to happen Unless the amazing happens from Yamaha but the Duke will be very strong again - who knows Dovi might one day lose his bridesmaid tag.
-
Yeah, fair enough. It's just how it looked to me.
I like Honda to win but also duc, I think they were close last season n think they'll be even closer this season. They know the tracks they dominate at n hope there's further improvement to win at the other. I'd like to see Dovi win title

wouldn't make for a comfortable ride.
