BREAKING: PCA and FCA to merge.
-
That's huge. I knew Sergio wanted to merge FCA into something, but I don't think he was after PSA at the time.
Not sure if the article mentioned, but that would make PSAFCA likely the largest auto manufacturer in the world.

Lots of brands but not a lot of mass....
How long before holden get consumed by this?
SFA (my new name for them) would benefit greatly from buying the Holden dealer network and prime locations for multi-branded showrooms.
They could consolidate their national sites into the top say 150 locations and release the expense of the little single branded sites.

That's a good question. I actually thought Holden may have been taken by Inchcape, who import all of the PSA stuff into Australia, but their books must be a mess, as GM did want rid of them after they sold off Opel.
There is a rumour floating around as well that Insignia is dead. Last production run will be in March next year, and then that's it. Experiment over.

Surely blind freddy could have read that writing on the wall when VF was killed. I wonder how much that experiment cost Holden in the long run. With all of the engineering and shoehorning to get the V6 to fit, and it's all over inside one model.

I'd still buy the Chrysler version.
