Thanks for the little insight Ian, a shame that the weather god's didn't shine on the day as the overcast day didn't do the colour and stripe package its true justice, I can't wait to hear one of these machines, I assume that Herrod has taken care of the exhaust applications on these R-Specs ?.
Also to note the manual only observation, hopefully this is just a test of the waters and future products/examples show us the choice of a auto ?.
typical bogan olden supporters, thought it was a R8 :)
Doesn't take much to make the Mustang's look special. The donor GT is already a striking and emotive visual package. The rear RSPEC wing is probably the stand out exterior feature although I do like those front accents as well under the LED's. Ian, did you happen to notice if their was now an opening under there for additional air? The standard GT's front bar is blocked at the same location.
My other question on aesthetics is if the black bonnet vents were painted or just wrapped?
I really don't get how people like puke colours but all to its own, some mothers do have them.
ah trust you Col lol.......
So it explains why those puke yuk colours are in low % :)
Green, the only green that has had any sort of decent acceptance is British Racing Green Or a nice metallic dark green.
These light/lime and in some case's latest mat finish puke greens are 110% puke for a street car, I can understand a racing car or marketing purpose but as a daily those people obviously have strange positive experiences - maybe online :)
haha,
Yes put simply we are drawn to colours we unconsciously associate with positive feelings and experiences. Explains why I like a good metallic bronze colour for example, while other people just see brown/dirt/shit etc.. I also love yellow on some cars. My Dad loved yellows, oranges and browns and even greens. We often had cars and things around us in these colours. My love for red, cyan, yellow and black may actually come from some very positive experiences I have had in the design/print industry.

The 'toxic' type colors are not my thing personally, but I can see why people are drawn to their vibrancy and polarising nature. The FPV use of them has been pretty effective.
For muscle cars and supercars I really like in your face colors like this. But as soon as I seem them on regular cars I can't stand them lol.
Still plenty left:
