I saw that too.
Ford's Australian engineered vehicles are quite well respected inside the Ford world, so they are a little more insulated than Holden was. Ford also have access to all of the British Fords, which helps with the Right Hand Drive problem.
Did Ford Australia get the next Ranger revision, or did that head to the US?
you quote Australian market Norm, what do you think this will open in new future models ?
I don't think much.

Now careful how u read the heading.
It's only confirming the rumours and also talking about a possible f150 program.
Discussion are always being had. So would a v8 ranger be worth it when they could just bring in the f150 raptor v8 ? So Re engineer ranger or Covert f150 to rhd and import them? Personally I feel theres room for the larger f series but wouldn't see them as high volume stuff but it's certainly an area that has a demand and Ford are simply the best when it comes to larger trucks. I think ranger n f series can survive side by side and feel Ford could have the market almost to themselves in terms of rhd factory built f series. All the others are imported and then converted.
But the main question is would it be worth spending mills for either v8 ranger or f series factory rhd? Would it cost mills to engineer ranger? Certainly will to convert factory to build rhd f series. Ford did it for Stang and our market isn't the only one it would open if factory built f series were made
