I wonder what $$ the upgrade package is from Herrod over the base GT, and how it effects factory warranty

So about $115k DA.

Its not supported by Ford.

Herrod cover warranty.

That's not too bad pricing when compared against the R-SPEC. Especially if you wanted the 10 speed and the additional cooling.
The SM17 is 'Ford approved' whatever that means. It would be hard to go past the factory blown effort with the 5-year warranty. That said, they are all sold out which is possibly why Ford approved it.

yep, I had read somewhere Herrod covers the WTY.
Not because of Herrod but its a no go zone to me period....why would I bother when buying for eg RRP GT and pour in say $10k to my preferred Tuner.
Now people can argue Tickford/FPV is similar but its not - at least with Prodrive it was an ongoing commitment model per model with Ford approved upgrades, due to the difficult and expensive issues concerning our ADR's Mustang has had this issue , I get that but Mustang here for me is/has become a easy token/tribute cash cow being we can't get a proper full factory built ride, thank god for Mach 1 mind you way way too late.
They alll are not that different anymore, same same but varying powa but who's sig it represents here, USA has 350/500's then you got the other name versions Roush etc that have their own unique looks.

Ford are not involved in this, its a private project by Rob, being offered through some Ford dealers.
