More trouble at erebus and the season hasn't started. Brodie set to not race in the final year of his contract. Defending champion potentially not racing. Crazy
Yeah thats crazy stuff re Brodie - madness - wonder what happened there?
So Erebus lose both 2023 drivers.
Might put my hand up for a drive :highly_amused: :highly_amused:
Yeah it’s been a shocker of a start. Good opportunity for Todd I guess although selfishly I’m conflicted. He comes across as such a nice bloke that loves his old Fords. I hate seeing him back racing a GM product. Hopefully, he’ll fit in ok with Erebus’s controversial team culture.

Chaz's 25. Predictable but looks sharp

I was listening to a podcast interview (Inside Supercars) with WAU CEO Bruce Stewart this morning. He mentioned how one of their key strengths as a business was in engine development and it was gut-wrenching to be constantly overlooked by Ford and Supercars to take on, or at the very least provide input into the Ford racing engine program.
They had put up their hand and were overlooked throughout 2023 when it became obvious that the Ford engine's performance was contributing to the ongoing disparity issues. When Herrod stepped away, they again offered to take it on but as we know it went to DJR.
I don't know whether this situation has contributed to the lack of Ford branding on their cars, but it's hard not to draw links. Personally, and without any disrespect to Ryan Story/DJR I think the Walkinshaw group would have done an amazing job.
Would HATE to see WAU given anything to do with homologation of any Ford car or Ford engine after Ryan Walkinshaws performance around the engine in #17 at Bathurst in 2019!
