Sunroofs
Now we all know that the sunroofs in BA's BF's were recalled
I hadnt actually heard of one fail
But over at AFF someone has reported that he had one let go
and his insurance wont pay as the glue let go on some part of a rusted frame
Now his car was a AU so it wasnt included in the recall
The only thing he hasnt said if it was a Ford factory fitted roof (he may not know, of course)
Makes me concenred with the sunroof in my TS now

I recall reading on the other forum about someone whose sunroof flew off on the freeway and they had a BA, this is before the recall. I would say the best thing to do is go to one of the Webasto authorised sunroof installers and ask them to assess the sunroof, I went to Custom Sunrrofs in Melbourne and they were great. I have attached a list of the dealers i got from somewhere else ;) There is one in Tassie.

Andrew - I suggest some good ol Tarzan's Grip or maybe Sika, though I would take her to an engineers shop and get them to weld her up and your concerns are gone but make sure to get an Engineers Certificate ! :p;)
In all seriousness I would be concerned - wtf do you do.

just hope that its a commodore following me when it flys off?

Hmm, interesting. I also learnt @ the GT Nationals some EL GT's suffered from rusted frames & sunroof failure. I believe they are Hollandia branded, dunno, it's been a long day.
