EF GLi Trans Cooling Help
Hi guys,
New to the forum so go easy on me, just so you're aware I'm not entirely car lingo'd so you'll have to help me along the way.
I've recently moved to Australia and did some research on possible cars to buy. Having a family, I picked a trusty old 95 Falcon GLi wagon.
The trans cooling hose, first question: is it even meant to be a hose, the other pipe is solid metal has sprung a leak so it's had to be removed, second question: What can it be replaced with? Some other high pressure hose or is this line supposed to be a metal line as well?
Now I've worked out that it's a high pressure pipe by how quickly it emptied the trans fluid and the mess it made under the bonnet, what type of hose if it is indeed hose do I purchase to replace it?
One last question: The inlet and outlet for the cooling on the radiator. Which is which? Google isn't being very helpful.
I've included some pics to help with my explanation just in case what I'm saying doesn't make sense.
Thanks and I look forward to the replies,
Dave.
