Bit of a wet blanket that bloke is.
Haha.
A sub 5 to 100 and sub 13 over the quarter on a damp track speaks volumes.
I'm expecting a very low 4 and a very low 12 for the auto but I fear that we may never see one tested by the media - not before Rspec is made available on other models in the future.
Yes he spoilt what would have been good review. What is it about the media's apparent agenda with discrediting the Falcon chassis. Saying that Prodrive did what they could with the base Falcon chassis, but couldn't overcome such things as ..well, shear PHYSICS... idiots.:rolleyes:
Give credit where credit is due guys..
The thing is though all throughout the Tickford/FTE era, they were known to have the superior suspension package and time and time again attacked for their lack of speed/power when compared to the opposition.
Now it's a complete roll reversal and I somehow fail to believe that a company in FPV which is technically Tickford just restructured have gone backward's in this department.
Believe it! The Control Blade rear end has been the achilles heel of Fords since AU. The chassis is supposedly stiffer but the car behaviour doesn't reflect it at all.
However I don't believe it is anywhere near what this twat is saying.
I have a mate with a 325kW Clubbie thingo - the plastic fantastic of the HSV stable. It is quite good in a straight line but he says it is not as confident or predictable in high speed corners as my T3 is. He drove my car for over 300km (including a speeding ticket LOL) and this was his honest opinion. I haven't driven his ... yet.
Funny how the media bag the FG chassis dynamics yet the GT and F6 manages to lap winton considerably faster than any other regular production Falcon or Commodore in the past... It cant be that bad a chassis...
Exactly Youssef ... they choose to ignore the facts and not let them get in the way of a good ol' Ford-bash.
