Ford enthusiasts are extremely passionate, I have not seen this in any other make. They keep their cars longer, they are looking to customise, they share and participate in communities.
But they aren't really new car buyers. In days gone by either government or police or taxis were the original owners and many of the ford enthusiasts come along to buy when the car is 10 years old and then it all starts for them.
Ive read so many posts for the passion for the GT-F or XR8 sprint but then towards the end of their post say "but im not in a position to buy one".. If it means that much and made you so happy, why not buy one? we have known this is the end for 2 years now. I could understand this approach in years gone by as you would always aim to buy down the track, buy the next model but with Falcon, there is no tomorrow!! there is no tomorrow!!!
I was one of these passionate people, lusted after the current new car but always owned an older model. Knowing that ford was to cease production, it was now or never. This is what I want, the cars that I enjoy, it was last calls, so I bought one. Buy one people if your passion is as you say.
