Have to disagree with the XR feeling 'value' and 'not premium'. I've owned nothing but Ghias for most of my cars, and this is a premium car, with a nice blend of sporty and luxury.
It comes with leather everything, a big Sync 2 screen with all the fruit, has a supple yet firm ride (kudos to Ford), and is very comfortable. I can understand comparing GT-F to XR8, and I would be surprised to see that the GT-F didn't feel any more special, but the XR does what it does very well, for a great price point.
As said previously, they were built for two different markets, and I intend on driving mine daily without having to worry about re-sale or the target of theft. I feel like we both won with each of these models.
