Not clear if those numbers include NZ or not but you can add 850 Sprint 8s at a minimum.
So close enough to 4000 FGX "XR8"s
4000 cars at close to or above full whack. That's more than they sold on the previous decade.
Funny how things pick up when you meet the market.
I love vanish. Manual Vanish FTW
Well if you add GTF to those XR8 variants, it's probably closer to 4600.
Add to that the GTs made when Ford purchased the Miami engine plant and I would suspect they got their money back. ;)
So these figures don't incl Sprint8 ?
I hope we do finally get to have an accurate account of all this, with or without NZ.
I just realized something.... I'm not just getting one of the last ever Falcons, I'm getting one of the last ever manufactured Miamis..... Fark
Vanish was a nice colour. Was genuinely surprised and disappointed when it was dropped. The final numbers are very gratifying. As a wise man on this forum told me one day. Put the orders in and Ford will find a way to make it happen. This is a great testimony to Ford's want to do the right thing with the final Falcon. Well done and thank you.
PS. 1 Manual Vixen would have been nice...
Not those figures are just XR8 that may or may not include cars for New Zealand.
Total FGX XR8 volume should add another 850 sprints as they are a variant of the model but rightful should be keep separate in any grouping break down.
It's just from a totality stand point we have ended up miles away from those early projected rumours.
It is sobering to reflect that Ford were able to make this about the consumer and deliver on volume.
If it's for the fans then it needs to be obtainable. Part of that is affordability and having sufficient stock to control the situation.
If you wanted to go further, the number of orders in the same time for GT mustang, push demand for V8 Ford product to I suspect some sort of record level.
