This regional grouping is headquartered in Shanghai and includes responsibility for the parent company's investments in China. In 2012 growth distribution saw 41% Asia-Pacific, 29% US & Europe 30%. By 2020 it is forecast that those figure will be 46% Asia-Pacific, 26% US & Europe 28%.
The Australia automotive market is, by world measures, relatively small with an annual industry volume of approximately 1.1 million units. This compares with an annual US market of approximately 15 million sales and a market forecast of 19 million units for China this year.
