After my too long post you wonder IF I watched the vid.
Like I said, he would have been briefed on who was attending, a leader at those levels always have minders on what and not to say I know.
The Slow moving company HAD to pick up its ACT, thankgoodness for that.
IE even here having that painful female in their tv commercials here, Ford US have recognised You Tubers etcetcetc.....

Oh he mentioned the R is wasted to him unless on a track - oh I didn't listen to the vid.
He made a good point as most of us would.
My mention of 500 he could have jumped into a current model, made sense going the later/newer 350 if I got this right.
Like I said no big deal and just the way I wish to read it - after listening to the vid in its entirety once yesterday.

That's the thing.

He made several good points, the entire point being these were previously not thought to be something he would naturally make.

He has been painted as anti car. Not anti performance, but anti car.

The point stands. Unless you are saying it's a complete fabrication.

I'd love to be optimistic and normally I am BUT with white collar high end corps I chose to tread veryvery lightly.
Amongst the public, ie you tubers as such I believe they say what you wish to hear for its the board/economies/govs that he listens to more than anything else.
If your a leader of any Car company you sure would be driving what your company makes so, big deal he's in a 350 and right now it with the 150 is the money pot, right image to portray by the minders as well possibly, I'm sure he would prefer being in a Lincoln but thats not the flag to fly at this stage.
We shall see what the future brings.

I don't follow Mustang media too closely. I knew they were doing something with Hybrid but more to the point why would they not have a V8 in the near future... Bit like Holden not having a V8 Commodore anymore, that has worked really well for them hasn't it?

As for him not being a car person then what is he doing running a car company? I didn't know Ford made white goods as well.

Dash, he quoted V8 is still going ahead.

I know that. What I am questioning is why people thought the V8 Mustang would not continue on?

I suppose the smokes and mirrors regards the future/platforms/engines.......I'm probably not accurate for I don't take it all in that much.

Anyway.... i had a drive in a 10sec manual 850hp 5.0 Whipple charged 2017 Mustang today.
