I'm disappointed and not.
We lose our 2nd fastest Ford driver which is never good imo - yep he has stuffed up plenty on and off the track but were pretty lean for front runners due to this.
Maybe we will be surprised from the newbies ie Kellys and I'm happy having LBroc back.
2nd Fastest in your mind but either way it hasn't translated into second best.
To finish first, first you have to finish.
Overall we have the best team in the sport, and 2 most successful current Ford drivers in the same camp.
I'm pretty bloody happy with that..
The cleansing of Tickford is now complete, WAU are welcome to Crashaz, good luck to his team mate.
Tickford have worked bloody hard this year and im looking forward to seeing them build around 4 cohesive drivers who want to be part of a team in 2020.
yep SM won and we expected so, first you have to finish correct.
I know your train of thought.
As I quoted 2nd fastest Ford driver.
Our ex Ford boy Chaz is/was the 2nd fastest driver we have/had full stop, nothing more nothing less but......
With the backing and all pabs should have been 2nd in the final standings full stop making it the 1-2 the resource at hand but its all good to boast the outcome in the big wash I suppose.
IMO the back stabbing TR has copped from fellow Fordies is cheap thrills, TE under the circumstances he's dealt with the last 2yrs has stood up pretty good and should be given credit tbh having all 4 cars being competitive this season and taking many opel points that could have really counted since the Bend, at times TR drivers have been SM's wild cards in more ways than one haha taking points from both T8 cars finsihing 2/3 in the standings where infact Fabs should have been 2nd period but we know the excuse's :).
DJRTP thought chaz was second best. Enough to up their offer which they don't tend to do.
As everyone can see now, waiting an extra year at Tickford was an option. It was in fact part of the contract.
Lee Holdsworth has touched on the potential reason chaz elected to not drive for penske. Slowly the media are getting there.
Fabs owes Ryan Wanker a fair bit here.
Hazlewood to BJR
