New to the forum but I think I can navigate it OK, but please feel free to advise me if I am off course.
I have some Tickford 5.6 engine parts that have been in storage for 15 or so years. In a dry environment.
I was going to put together the original TE/TS/TL 50 engine for use somewhere, but I do not have a cylinder block or conrods/pistons. Or a car to put it into - Damn things are expensive now.
So I have decided to sell the components to someone with more youth and time than I have.
I considered a boat, but not sure of that right now. I think a car would be more appropriate.
I do have the original Tickford crank, cylinder heads (with valves & springs still in place) all inlet manifold parts, throttle body, distributor, and some sensors and lots of bolts etc., from the original engine last run in 2001. Ran for less than 2000 km.
I can deliver proof on that timeframe of engine operation. Perhaps a phone call might be relevant here.
This package includes 2 sets of cylinder heads, each pair with a slightly different combustion chamber volume - Good for road and race, respectively.
I searched the forums and couldn't find things on the old Windsor 5.6, so thought I'd put a new thread in on this. I am a crap searcher, so if there are forums on this old engine, please let me know.
