SSV Quality

Hey fellas, I am wanting to do a couple changes to the GS ute, nothing that can't be reversed.

Thinking of a Manta Cat Back exhaust, and I notice they do a dual exit - requires changes to rear bumper centre section.

Have any of you have any experience with SSV?

They make a dual exit rear panel for the FG - just wondering what their quality is like?

Also, I use the ute as a daily - I want to keep the original FPV tarp in good condition, so considering a hard lid.

Any feedback on who is good and who is not?

SSV list hard lids, but they are sourced from somewhere else.

No not directly but I am or was in a similar situation with the xr8.

Back in the day there was a SSV commodore getting worried down here and the quality of that looked ok to me.

I’m keen to follow any input you get on this too

Hey Randel, haven't been on for sometime so good to see your looking to enhance the yoot.
Few people I know bought SSV product, isn't too bad by their standards.
All comes down to how anal you are I guess, can't expect factory finiah then again they have their failures like everyone else.

Like going the dual rear bar for a twin outlet, put it this way IF I was in your shoes, if I wasn't happy with the finish like the hard lid off to my beater for a quick re spray.
Manta seems to have some pretty good product, feedback is good but there is always someone who isn't happy.
