I did Henri Roberts drive on a 39/25 and it damn near killed me, I will be looking at going to 39/28 on a 11 speed set up, that should get me through it.

Love the sound of the Campa gearing
Too much for me considering I'm not a weekly rider, I find Ultegra enough mind you stepping up to DurAce would be a bonus next time.
I push making time doing anything to T3 nowadays let alone doing a bike build BUT I have stored passed on by my Uncle a while ago his original Speedwell racing bike of 30yrs ago waiting for me to restore one day. I do look forward rebuilding that classic
My Felt needs 2 new tyres got to get up to the shop and get me some.

Tell you what gets my eye lately - the latest mountain bikes ! they are looking mad nowadays, KTM's great bit of kit.
CL Champs 2019 for the 6th time
    and EPL 19/20 Champs......
TS50/Sprint 8 and daily anti aussie Macan GTS

I know what you mean. My local shop had a Lapierre that looked awesome with some great gear and the price was not too scary.

9:30 tonight the Hell of the North, the Paris-Roubaix is on SBS. If the Tour of Flanders last week is anything to go by it is going to be an interesting race.

Good news, the Eddy Merckx is back.

The bottom bracket had a new sleeve installed and while they were at it I got them to change it from an Italia thread to a British thread. I also had the right side chain stay repaired where a dropped chain had chewed it out, a water bottle mount repaired and I had a braze on front derailleur mount installed rather than having to use a clamp on adapter. I am not a fan of lamp on derailleurs on a carbon frame as it is easy to crush the tubes.

The bottom bracket repair and the chain stay repair are first rate, you would never pick that there has been an issue. Except that it now take a english thread bottom bracket when Italian made frames normally have a Italian thread.

I built the bike up yesterday with my Dura Ace 9 speed ensemble to get me going again, when the funds are available I will get a new ensemble for it. I also replaced the Look Keo pedals with some Shimano Ultegra as I was disappointed with the Looks. First ride will be tomorrow before work, have to say the road bike feels so light after being stuck on the MTB for a while.

Now to get busy preparing for the Peaks Challenge in August.
